Song under the moonlight

He sweetly shines his moonlight o'is
the deep depths of the sea;
and I think his beauty never struck me more
than the way he now looks to me.

Many a wise and trusted sage
call his master, guide, and friend;
and they say his touch can disassuage
and cause our moods to bend.

I know not of his wayward past
nor the love and faith he's tried.
His beauty is constant from first to last,
though many loves have died.

I am but mortal, can only look above,
can only admire him as he stands;
and my heart fills up with waves of love,
still lifted by his hands.

His sanctum, the sky that wraps around,
is the ebon black of night.
His loves, the stars that still surround
his orb with bursts of light.

Such beauty! How could we ask for more
than the love that comes from his light?
Fair, sweet, your face I adore.
Sweet dreams, my dear, and good-night.

The Bee Gees songs made me think on romance as I'd never thought before !
Thanks Guys!
Love,
Melissa Costa Bruno
